Reflection Exercise 2

Reflection Exercise 2

Order Description

read the Personal Reflection Exercise at the end of Chapter 9 of the Burghardt and Tolliver text (in the print version this is on page 49) Answer the questions below in an essay format using proper APA (title page, headings, in-text citations, and References). I would expect at least one paragraph for each question.

1. What did Regina do to respond to the tension in the room? How were problems and disagreements handled in the example? Use cited material from the text to support your answer.

2. Reflect on your own response to openly expressed disagreement. What is your reaction when you are forced to respond to open disagreement?

3. When disagreement occurs, are you comfortable to turn that disagreement into an opportunity for learning? How can differences be expressed without turning different points of view into attacks on the people involved?
