Instructions: Answer the following two questions in essay form. Length: approx. 950 words per essay question below and the answer should come below each question in one word-document. Normal referencing conventions apply (Harvard system). This unit is “Research Methods in Politics and International Relations” and the text book for this unit is (Theory and Methods in political Science, third edition by David Marsh and Gerry Stoker). Pls make a good essay with Number of sources/references of your choice.
Question 1.
To what extent, if at all, should the human sciences seek to emulate the methods and procedures of the natural sciences?
Question 2.
To what extent do the human sciences need to understand action from an ‘internal perspective’, i.e. by considering the motives, intentions and purposes of the subjects of investigation? What methods are best suited to this task?
