Slang words project

Paper details:

For your final project, you will be asked to collect 15 words or phrases which, ideally, are
widely used by students on the CSULA campus. You will have to describe each word in
terms of its pronunciation, lexical class (part of speech) (you will need to justify this),
meaning, possible origin, and also give examples of the word in use. You will be
expected to use MLA style for quotations and sources. You will be graded by the
originality of the words/phrases that you find and completeness of your description. The
description of each word/phrase should start with a dictionary-like entry and can then
proceed to give more in-depth description. You will submit your words/phrases in
alphabetical order, as they would appear in a dictionary. An example entry is given in the attachment below.
